MANILA, Philippines — The Indonesian Navy training ship KRI Bima Suci arrived in Manila on Tuesday morning for a four-day goodwill visit.
The vessel docked at Pier 15 in South Harbor around 9 a.m.

Other countries it already visited are Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, South Korea, Russia, and Japan.
Article continues after this advertisementDuring its four-day stay in the Philippines, the ship’s crew will conduct a drum band display and cultural parade at the Legazpi Active Park in Makati City on October 16.
Article continues after this advertisement“The event will highlight Indonesian-Philippine cultural performances and a parade of traditional costumes. It will also have an Open Ship invitation for the public on the morning of October 16 and an onboard reception for the diplomatic community on October 17,” the embassy said.
Article continues after this advertisementAccording to the embassy, the KRI Bima Suci’s visit to the Philippines is also part of a year-long celebration commemorating the 75th anniversary of Indonesia and the Philippines’ Diplomatic Relations this year.
It is the ship’s third visit to the Philippines following its first in October 2018 and second in August 2019.
